Magic Drop prevents fine gold from floating in a gold pan or sluice. A single 4 ounce bottle will treat up to 250 gallons of water. Specially formulated to reduce the surface tension of water with minimal sudsing.
For use in common gold prospecting equipment like gold pans, panning tubs, jigs, spiral wheels, mini high-bankers, recirculating sluices, and more.
Only a couple of drops are needed for a gold pan up to 1 teaspoon per 10 gallons of water in a recirculating sluice system. Use sparingly - a little magic drop goes a long way.
If out of stock we will substitute for similar Keene gold drop.

Gold Drop SolutionSmall or flat particles of gold can be often be held in suspension and float on the surface of the water. Oils present in your panning material can create a surface tension on the water surface which will suspend these gold particles. If your gold floats it will not be captured and will be lost. Adding some "gold drops solution" to your paydirt while panning or using a concentrator can greatly aid is dropping the gold out of suspension and make recovery of the finest gold particles more easy. Also works well with recirculating sluices. |
