Please note: the previously black mat is now a green color to allow for greater definition between the black sands and the matting. This makes it much easier to fine tune and properly adjust your sluice box.

After 3 years of development and over 25 prototypes, Keene Engineering developed the perfect concentrator riffle. The first Hungarian riffle molded into a soft rubber mat is now included in many Keene products.

Miracle Mat replaces standard riffles and matting. It usually sits under the classifier screen that is placed at the head of the sluice box.

large riffles are 5.15mm tall, 32mm between riffles.
Small riffles are approx. 1.35mm tall and approx. 3.3mm apart. Tough to measure accurately, but this should be close.

Miracle Sluice Box Mat measures 35 inches long by the amount of inches you need wide, up to 35 inches. (You can order custom width sizes by phone at approx. $8 per inch.) Sorry, no custom cuts in length are available. The length is always 35 inches.

Miracle Sluice Matting REVIEW:
If anyone is a little bit leery of ordering the miracle matting because of the cost don't worry because its worth every penny. At least in a dredge it is, not sure how it would work in a sluice. Bought a piece of it for the black mat in the first stage on a 5 inch dredge and every time we cleaned up there was tons of gold on it, the riffles are so deep in it its hard to get the gold out of it sometimes. I would say that it doubled the amount of gold caught in the first stage of the dredge.
