This compact bowl shaped classifier screen is approx. 7 1/2 inches in diameter and 3.5 inches tall. The bowl's hole openings are about 18 mesh, a bit larger than window screen making it ideal for classifying and reducing your gold panning material down for easier panning.

Gold Panning Tip: always classify your material according to size before panning. Pan the smaller material in one batch and then repeat for the larger material and look for bigger gold chunks and nuggets. Gold, while very heavy, may still be displaced by larger rocks and gravel so keep your material as close to the size of the gold for your best chance of recovery.
